Waterfalls

I wash in the falls of my misery
My sorry unable to drown me
In this twilight between times, I suffocate
Not knowing whether my past will call again,
Or my future accept me.
Crawling through alone, there are no supports in this whirlpool
The winds push me back as I begin my journey towards my end.
These winds of changes, so difficult to withstand.
Then you hold my hand, and pull me into the realms of a different time,
where we float suspended between the paradise and hell of our minds.
Here is where I long to stay
I beg you, but you must let me go
I catch your tear as you watch me float away into a different time
Be brave, you say, be brave,
I’ll be waiting, until after the end…
